The BIG 2-4

Today I turned the big 24..just think next year my car insurance should drop. It was a great day..I received lots of love from friends and family and spent the evening with my wonderful family. I couldn't be more blessed!

This morning I awoke to a nice little snow dusting..the weather knew it was my birthday haha!

My unhappy pair..you can tell what Carter thinks of me being a year older all over his face. It's ok buddy..I don't want to grow older either.

The Usual

I decided to update everyone on our usual routine at night with my little ones...sometimes I think we have way too much fun!

We usually start out by playing with remotely hazardous items like necklaces with beads..umm..where did that come from? It was discarded after this picture....

Ok..ok..maybe after this picture. Little miss Layla is into everything now.

Then a little sibling rivalry usually takes place over a toy that Carter knows Layla was playing with first..but hey..that is the advantage of being the big brother. I had three and believe me, I took a good beating every now and again.

Bath time is always Carter and Layla's favorite part of the day! They get to play and make a mess..which my naughty two love doing.

This gruesome twosome had some wild hair..wild but clean!

Finally sitting up independently in the bath tub. Makes bath time much easier for this tired Mama.

I think Layla is adapting well to all the boy friendly bath toys..notice the dinosaur she is chewing on. I think it may be time for some girly bath toys.

Little Sniffles

Someone has been sick with the sniffles and a low grade fever this weekend. Fortunately, other then the fever and runny nose, this little guy is just as on the go as he always is. Wanting "X" amount of juice, playing with his trains, eating well, and running around like a wild man. I would say someone has a good old fashioned cold.

He loves playing on our bed. Wild little guy!

Nothing cures a cold better then sleeping it off.

Not to mention, we have really been stepping up our potty training skills. I think we are getting there!

Little Crawler

Big Girl Car Seat!

Little Miss Layla has finally reached the maximum weight for her infant car seat and guess what came in the mail today?........

Her new car seat!!! Such a big girl!

Beautiful Weekend!!!

This past weekend was such a tease for spring. We definitely utilized the nice weather and spent our Saturday at the park. Lets hope the old groundhog gives us something to look forward to tomorrow.

This little guy loves the park! Definitely one of his favorite things to do!
