I came home from work to find this in my living room...


Carter: Mama! My dinosaur needed some shoes before he was aloud to go outside.
Me: Good thinking Carter, but it's raining..maybe Mr. Rex can go outside another day.
Carter: Duh Mama, I knew that..I was just making him try them on so he would know they fit when it quit raining.
Me: They look a little big..you wouldn't want him to fall
Carter: He will grow into them.

I could not stop laughing. We left Mr. Rex's shoes on for Al to see when he came home. I am sure most toddlers do stuff like this all the time, however, I just found it so amusing that Carter was already sounding like Al and I as parents. Too cute!

Visit with Paw-Paw

Today we went to visit Paw-Paw, Lisa, and Uncle Nick. The kids had a blast hanging out and helping paw-paw in his garden.

Friday!

This week has been an exhausting week for me and my munchkins. I am doing my annual tour at Dobbins for the Air Force (two weeks) and having to be up every morning at 0445 has sure taken a toll on this mama. I managed to get some pictures of the kids playing tonight and visiting with Mimi and Uncle Chase.

Day at the pool!

My cousin Sara flew in from Arizona this past week and we went to my Aunt Debbie's pool to swim and hangout just like last year! My munchkins had a blast and Al and Carter this year went down the big water slide. Layla, unlike last year, actually got to enjoy the water!

I had a very special little client come into my bathroom this morning for a pedicure...(like last year)

And she was very assertive on what she wanted...
