3!!!

Three years ago today Al and I decided to throw in the old towel and get hitched! It has honestly been three crazy years but neither one of us would change a thing. We have two beautiful and wonderful children and a life time full of pure happiness and love ahead! I couldn't be more blessed to share my life with not only a great daddy, a true best friend, and a wonderful husband! I love you!

Al and Haley
October 19th, 2007!

Remember when I was young and so were you and time stood still and love was all we knew,

You were the first, so was I, We made love and then you cried,
Remember when...

Remember when we vowed the vows and walked the walk, Gave our hearts, made the start, it was hard,

We lived and learned, life threw curves,There was joy, there was hurt,
Remember when...

Remember when old ones died and new were born,

And life was changed, disassembled, rearranged, We came together, fell apart

And broke each other's hearts
Remember when...

Remember when the sound of little feet was the music, We danced to week to week,

Brought back the love, we found trust, Vowed we'd never give it up,
Remember when...

Remember when thirty seemed so old,

Now lookn' back it's just a steppin' stone,

To where we are, Where we've been,

Said we'd do it all again, Remember when...

Remember when we said when we turned gray,

When the children grow up and move away,

We won't be sad, we'll be glad, For all the life we've had...

And we'll remember when...

Happy three year anniversary!

Pumpkin patch fun!

Today Al and I loaded up the munchkins and headed to the biggest pumpkin patch in Lawrenceville! There was everything from horse back riding to moonwalks to a haunted house. It was definitely some much needed Halloween fun to end a great weekend!

Carter and I at the pumpkin patch!

He really liked this one. Shortly there after, they all became his favorite.

Layla's first time at a pumpkin patch!

I really think she enjoyed the pumpkins.

Carter really enjoyed the pumpkins this year along with all the many other things going on.

The pumpkin patch!

Layla and mommy!

I think Layla was ready to call it a day at this point!

Yes..definitely time to go home and eat supper! What a great Sunday!

Getting in the Halloween Spirit

We are so excited that Halloween is getting close. The kids already have their costumes and it is about time to go pumpkin pickin.

The kids loving the Halloween decorations outside on the front porch!

These terrified Carter last year but this year he seems to enjoy them.

Layla's first October!

Look at this little stinker looking all devious her pumpkin PJs.

Little pumpkin butt! I am going to miss the little outfits with little designs sown on the bottom.

5 Months!

Yesterday Layla turned five months old. Time sure does fly when you are having fun! We don't usually go to the Dr. for five month check-ups, but Layla has had a horrible cough and needed to be checked. I managed to get her STATs while I was there. At five months:

Weight: 17lb 8oz >95%

Height: 27in >95%

HC: 43cm >95%

It appears that Layla is still managing her >95 percentile stats! At five months, Layla loves to talk (baby talk) and giggle at everything (even her cough), she is definitely going to crawl before she sits upright, her favorite person is definitely Carter, she loves all her baby food (by her weight, I am sure you can tell she loves it all), like any other baby she favors the fruit over the veggies, she is getting up on all fours and rocking, and she loves being held ALL THE TIME! I honestly can't believe it has been five months! I love you baby girl!

Sunday Afternoon

Today was a gorgeous day so the munchkins and I enjoyed the nice weather outside after church!

I bought the seeds for these flowers at Target for a dollar because Carter wanted to plant them in mama's garden. They actually turned out really nice and colorful.

He loves smelling his flowers. He will look at me and say "Carter's flowers".

My pretty girl enjoying the nice weather in her chair.

Unlike her brother, Layla will at least look at the camera.

I think he was signifying that we needed to take out the trash..haha. By the looks of this picture, I think he is right. I thought I had a good picture too and somehow managed to capture that luminous trash.

Best Buds

My two little munchkins are starting to find each other more and more interesting each day. Carter is always looking for Layla and Layla is always watching Carter's every move. I think they are becoming really good pals!

They enjoy playing on Carter's bed together...

Watching Nick Jr. and smiling at mama's camera...

posing for the camera...

Layla even watches Thomas the Train with Carter..I think for right now, Layla is definitely a keeper..even though everyone keeps telling me that will change in about 15 years.

Carter busy into Thomas the Train and Layla following her mama.

Saturday playdate with Austin!

It has been way too long since Roxanna's little man and mine got to have a play date together. I loaded up the munchkins and went to the mall to see Roxanna and Austin. We had a blast! The boys got to catch up as well as the mamas! Little Layla also got to be in on the girl talk. It was great seeing them and we planned another one real soon.

First play date! Carter and Austin were born exactly two weeks apart. This picture was taken in October of 2008.

Here they are in October 2010 still up to the same old schemes!

Carter was so excited to play in all the cars.

The pink car was the only one that worked..these two didn't seem to mind..real men wear pink anyways..haha.

Layla hanging out with the mamas..her new trick is untying her shoes.

When they were babies we would always have them side by side in their strollers.

Carter and Austin riding the train together. Carter did not want to get off.

Layla with Roxanna.

Somebody looked mighty tired after a few laps around the mall chasing the boys on the train.

After the train ride, we all settled for some lunch. We use to have to grab two high chairs and now they sat at the table with their mamas like big boys.

Austin unsure about the merry-go-round and Carter in full gear ready to go.
Waving and smiling at the camera.
Roxanna and Austin finishing up lunch after the merry-go-round.

Good bye is never fun. I think my munchkins took a munch needed nap on the car ride home and were wired back up when we got home. Lets just say this mama was exhausted after today's trip to the mall but enjoyed seeing one of my best girl friends. What a great Saturday!
