Baby Shower

The ladies at work decided to throw me a baby shower for Layla. It was suppose to be in the early part of May but things were just so crazy at the office that we decided to do it after she was born. It was a good thing seeing she weighed 10 lbs and could not wear any newborn items including diapers. Besides, everyone enjoyed getting to pass her around! Here are a few pictures from my shower.

A day at the POOL!!!

Yesterday, we went to my Aunt Debbie's pool to enjoy the hot weather! The kids and I had a blast. Here are a few pictures from yesterday afternoon.

Welcome home 121st Alpha Company

Saturday, we attended the Welcome Home parade in downtown Lawrenceville for the 121st Alpha Company Army reservist. They are safety returning back to us from Afghanistan.

Double Double Toil N Trouble

This past week, we decided to break out the new gear and put the double stroller to some use by going on our first walk as a family of four. Although the nice Georgia heat cut our walk in half, the kids enjoyed their nice little stroll.

Carter was so excited about his new stroller..he was ready to go! Juice in hand ready to roll. We called him the pilot.

Layla was a little unsure about the stroll but was happy to be her big brother's co-pilot.

Al and Carter outside with no shoes. At least Carter was sitting in the stroller while Al was walking around on the hot pavement in 90 degree weather (no wonder the walk was cut shorter then usual).
