Bikes with Mimi!

Saturday we had perfect weather to get the kids out on their new bikes and who better to spend it with then Mimi!

Layla was ready to take off! Carter on the other hand, was a little unsure of this whole bike thing.

Who needs helmets when you have baby crockett? Truth be told, Al ran them over on New Years at Will's house (no New Years drinks involved). The kids had just got through riding and for whatever reason placed them under the car.

This girl might be what you would call "all girl", but she can sure keep up with the boys..dress, necklace, earrings, and all!

The weather has been so nasty lately that we figured we needed to get the kiddos out of the house and run off some of their energy. No better place then the park!

This past weekend Carter got promoted to yellow belt at his Karate. We couldn't be prouder of our Little Dragon!

We had another great Christmas this year! Carter was so excited to see what Santa brought him and I think Layla was happy to see Carter so excited. She is starting to pick up on it a little bit although Santa still scares her and is not her favorite person. 

These two kiddos were up bright and early and very anxious to see if Santa had visited them.

Rest assured, Santa did visit Carter....

and Layla. I still don't know how they manage to pull off being good at the last minute.

Santa also visited Al and I. Of course, we are never naughty and were good all year. *Cough, cough.

Santa even visited Carter and Layla at Paw paw and Lisa's house.

We had a very eventful Christmas Eve morning. My mom and two brothers came over and spent Christmas Eve morning with us.
