A little exploring...

While in VA, we walked down to some lakes/ponds that were not far from where we were staying and did a little exploring.

Mountain Trip!

We spent this last weekend in the mountains of Virginia with Al's family! Lots of family fun!

Happy Halloween!

We celebrated Halloween in Charlotte this year with family. The kids had a blast trick or treating with their cousins.

Corn Dawgs!

Today we went to Corn Dawgs, a miniature fall theme park and corn maze in Loganville. We had such a good time riding rides, eating funnel cakes, and best of all, the corn maze!

The famous corn maze map. I was pretty impressed it only took us 35 minutes to get through the 3 mile course.

The underground slide. This one was Carter's favorite. Al and I even mastered this one. We are such big kids at heart.

Addi and her family met us over at the park. Carter learned very quickly why not to run in a labyrinth full of rocks. He got a nice shiner to prove it. 

Oh when pigs have wings. This was probably their favorite one of all.

Other then the funnel cake, this was my personal fav..right next to the ass. 

The one thing we could not miss. Layla was not leaving until we got to ride the ponies. I see horse lessons and showing in our near future.

Aunt Nicole and cousin Baylee (due 1-6-14) on the corn maze. Leave it to the pregnant woman needing to use the bathroom and wanting a funnel cake to lead us out of the maze with no problem.
