5K Star! 🏁🏃🏼

Carter participated in his first 5K he has been training for since February yesterday! He ran it in a little over 30 minutes! So proud of him! Next run is in two weeks!

I gave into peer pressure and had to try it! How's that for sugar? Let's just say I was wide awake for my nightly microbiology class.

One word: diabeeeeeeetus

My unknown bacteria I grew, nourished, and eventually had to kill: Micrococcus roseus. You can find it in your shower or on your sinks.

Put it this way, it was a huuuuuggge (Donald Trump voice) motivating factor for Alvin Hardin to bleach our shower 😂😂😂😂😂

My sweet girl took her first hit with a softball like a champ.

Easter Egg Fun!

Carter and Layla had a fun time decorating their Easter eggs this year. Lots of fun colors and designs. They're really looking forward to the Easter Bunny this year, and of course, the rising of Jesus Christ.

Such a gorgeous Saturday! We took the kiddos to the park for lunch and some much needed r&r, especially after Wednesday's storms.

Nana came down and spent spring break with the kiddos! Trips to the zoo, coloring, pizza making, IHOP lunches, and lots of hugs!
