Spring has sprung!

The weather was absolutely beautiful yesterday! I packed after school snacks, picked the kids up from school, and we headed to the park to soak up some vitamin-D!

Mimi came down this weekend, and we took the kiddos to see Cinderella! Mimi, popcorn, candy, and princesses..Layla was sold! Carter was sold except for the princess part and decided to blurt out that all the men in the movie looked like George Washington hahahaha! Crazy kiddo!

Knight at the Museum

Carter had his Knight at the Museum this past week at school and his class's theme was "The Ant and the Grasshopper. Here is his class's reenactment of the fable.

This little diva had her spring picture day at school this week, and she picked out everything from her bow to her shoes. Al and I are definitely in for it with this one.

Blue and Gold banquet!

My little Tigers celebrated their annual Cub Scout banquet tonight! I didn't get a lot of pictures because I had to give a speech and present them their rewards! It's been a great year thus far!

The theme of our banquet was blue and gold make green. Green as in recycling and all that jazz. So one of our lessons was to make robots out of recyclables and present them at the banquet. You can see how hard and creative my Tigers (and their parents) worked. 

Baby PFTs!

Today Layla visited her lung doctor to see how her Asthma is progressing. She is finally old enough to take the pulmonary function test. I use to perform these test on my patients at work, and it is so astonishing to see them teach it to small children.

We didn't get the results we had hoped for, but they will recheck her in three months to see how her new inhaler is doing.

Tennessee

Went for a short visit to Tennessee this weekend to celebrate Al's grandma's 90th birthday! Other than spending time with family, the best part about traveling is....

Staying in a hotel!!! You can see Carter isn't overly thrilled about his bed companion.
